Any new deployment which is going to be enterprise-wide needs to be evaluated as far as risks are concerned and every effort has to be taken to minimize those risks. The risks are lurking whether you are implementing Client/Server Technology, a Data Warehouse/Data Mart, or Inter/Intranet Infrastructure. So far, no one has found any silver bullet. This session identifies the business drivers and implementation of sound management techniques to avoid, if not at least minimize, the risks involved.
