Effective implementation of sales and marketing automaton systems requires cooperation and coordination between sales and marketing personnel and information systems personnel. However, often the objectives of these two key departments are quite different thus complicating the automation process from start to finish.
To address this increasingly important issue, leading industry consultant and author Barton Goldenberg moderates a "face-off" between sales and marketing executives and information systems executives from leading Fortune 500 and Inc. companies. The face-off involves several company teamsrepresenting both sides of the communications gap. Some of the invited teams have been successful and others come from companies who were not successful at bridging the gap.
