Dr. George Schussel
Founder, Chairman and CEO

As a national and international lecturer, Dr. Schussel is an expert on database, client/server and information management issues. Dr. Schussel writes extensively about database and client/server computing subjects and has authored or co-authored several books and more than 100 articles and columns in leading computer industry journals such as Computerworld, Datamation, and Databased Advisor. His most recent book is Rightsizing Information Systems.

Dr. Schussel undertakes a wide variety of consulting assignments in the software industry. Among the software vendors he has assisted with marketing or product positioning are Hewlett-Packard, AT&T/NCR, IBM, Digital Equipment Corporation, Sequent Computer, Computer Associates, Sybase, Information Builders, Revelation Technologies, and Borland.

Ronald Gomes
President

Mr. Gomes has been president of DCI since 1992. An expert on business process and business process re-engineering, Mr. Gomes was brought into the organization at the end of the first year of operation to manage and grow the business. Through his proven expertise, Mr. Gomes has taken the company from $500,000 in annual sales in 1983 to more than $40 million in 1995.

Mr. Gomes' philosophy of business at DCI has been to build a solid organization that is flexible enough to respond quickly to the continuous changes in the IT marketplace. Through his leadership, DCI has developed and cultivated key contacts within all sectors of the IT industry, including developers, speakers, software providers, and press representatives. The result is that every major software company is represented in one or more of DCI's programs.
