Warehouse World: CEOs Will Keynote;
'Father of Data Warehousing' to Co-Chair;
New Products at Center Stage

Presented
At Event in New York
Andover, MA -- DCIs
Data Warehouse World, the industrys
leading trade show focusing on
business-driven data warehousing
solutions, will present a multifaceted
lineup featuring keynote addresses by the
chief executive officers of three of the
worlds leading technology firms and
Conference Co-Chair Bill Inmon, generally
acknowledged as the "Father of Data
Warehousing."
In
addition, the winners of the third annual
"Excellence in Business
Information" awards will be
announced, and presentations will be made
at the conference at New Yorks
Javits Convention Center.
Joining
Mr. Inmon in delivering keynote addresses
will be Co-Chair Aaron Zornes, Executive
Vice President-Application Delivery
Strategies, the META Group, and CEOs Phil
White, Informix Software, Inc.; Michael
J. Saylor, MicroStrategy, Inc.; and
Michael Graves, Silicon Graphics.
Following his address, Mr. White will
hold an informal press briefing from
12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m.
Another
highlight of the conference will be a
special presentation by best-selling
author Tom Peters (In Search of
Excellence). Mr. Peters
presentation, The Pursuit of WOW,
at 9:45 a.m. on Wednesday, July 30, will
offer advice on how to succeed in
todays constantly changing business
world.
A major
portion of the conference will be
dedicated to real-world,
"best-practice" experiences and
hands-on product demonstrations and
technical workshops by many of the
worlds foremost companies. Among
those presenting data warehousing success
stories will be the following companies:
Hewlett Packard, Guinness Import Co.,
Helene Curtis, NASDAQ, Pacific Bell,
Pitney Bowes, NCR, and Hunt Wesson, among
others.
Additionally,
free product demonstrations and
interactive workshops will be held by
such industry leaders as Informix
Software, Hewlett Packard, Platinum
Technologies, SAS Institute, Virtual
Integration Technology, Andyne Computing,
EMC, and Thinking Machines. The
exposition will also include live
demonstrations of more than 250 of the
latest tools and technologies for
architecture, infrastructure, and
development.
DCIs
Data Warehouse World will feature over
100 educational sessions in seven tracks
reflecting the business-driven solutions
focus of the event. Conference tracks
include: Data Warehouse Technologies;
Advanced and Emerging Technologies;
High-Impact Data Warehouse Applications;
Understanding How To Build a Better Data
Warehouse; Strategic Marketing
Summit; Data Mining and OLAP Forum;
and Data Quality Forum. In addition,
industry-specific tracks have been added
to address the needs of three rapidly
growing market segments, including
financial services, retailing, and health
care.

concurrently with DCIs Sales Force
Automation Conference and Exposition, the
worlds leading sales and marketing
automation event, that will feature over
100 sessions and live demonstrations of
more than 300 state-of-the-art

Over 15,000 people are expected to attend
the two events.
