DCI and
Microsoft Sponsor Microsoft Explorer 96
Andover,
MA -- DCI has announced that together with
Microsoft it plans to sponsor the Microsoft
Explorer 96 Conference and Exposition being held
September 17-19, 1996, at the Santa Clara
Convention Center, Santa Clara, California.
This
highly anticipated event will include five
focused conference tracks which get at the heart
of solutions and technologies, including:
Microsoft Internet, Microsoft BackOffice,
Microsoft Business Solutions, Microsoft Windows
95 & Office, and Development Tools.
Pre-conference seminars delve into
"Upgrading to Office 95" and
"WebCamp 1" on Monday, September 16.
"WebCamp 2" will follow on Friday
September 20, 1996.
Michael
Wheeler, President of NBC Desktop Video, will
begin the conference on Tuesday, September 17,
speaking on Business Intelligence and the
Internet: Staying Ahead of Competitors. On
Wednesday, learn about Microsoft Desktop
Applications and Platforms: See What the Future
Holds for Microsofts Most Popular Products
from Microsofts own Pete Higgins,
Group Vice President. On Thursday, Brad
Chase, General Manager, Microsoft, will
speak on The Internet and Beyond, and Lily
Kanter, Retail Marketing Consultant,
Microsoft, will give a special presentation, Electronic
Commerce Over the Internet.
Microsoft
Explorer 96 Exposition provides an opportunity to
get information about and view demonstrations of
products and services built around
Microsofts technologies. There will be a Just
Ask Microsoft area, where support
representatives will be available for questions. Hands
on Training, presented by New Horizons
Computer Learning Center, will have hands-on
workshops and demonstrations on Windows NT 4.0,
Windows 95, and the Microsoft BackOffice
products. A Technical Information
area will provide an opportunity to browse and
order on-line technological information directly
from Microsoft. Technology Briefings
will provide attendees the facts needed today to
make tomorrows buying decisions.
