DCIs
Internet Expo in Boston will play host to the
1997 MIMC Awards. The awards are the only
regional competition recognizing Internet,
multimedia, and enabling business technologies
designed, produced, or developed in New England.

WHY:
MIMC is a
non-profit industry council. Its mission is to
help build the interactive industry in
Massachusetts and to fuel industry growth as a
powerful economic engine for the state. To
fulfill its mission, MIMC conducts over 70
educational training and networking events per
year. In addition, MIMC acts as a watchdog and
advocate with regard to important legislative
issues as they pertain to this industry. MIMC
members, over 700 to date, include CD-ROM and
software developers, programmers, electronic
publishers, and Internet Service Providers.
