
CALL FOR ABSTRACTS
DCIs Internet Expo
Chicago, IL April 22-24, 1997
We invite you to submit your speaking proposals for presentation at DCIs Internet Expo in April. Please review the following material to learn more about the program and determine your presentation proposal(s) for the event.
Target Audience - We anticipate conference attendees to be essentially corporate application developers, team leaders, IS managers, and consultants.
Types of Presentations - There are 3 types of presentations at DCIs Internet Expo: half-day conference seminars, full day conference seminars, and conference presentations. Half day seminars are 3 hours in length, full day seminars are 7 hours in length, and conference presentations are 50 minutes in length.

Enabled Mail Applications Electronic Commerce Online Publishing Automating the Small Business Key Web Technologies Cutting Edge Topics Advertising on the WWW Open Standards Messaging Internet Security Application Development Tools Collaborative Solutions Intranets Internet Tools for All Platforms Global Mail Java Client/Server on the Internet EMail Infrastructures LAN Email General Guidelines
1. Sessions must be technical in nature and should not be a specific product pitch.
2. All selected speakers will be responsible for the following deliverables:
Submission of a 50-75 word abstract, including 3-5 bullet points which encapsulate "what an attendee will learn at the talk"
Biography and a black and white photo
A/V requirements for the presentation
Speaker travel itinerary
Proceedings materials by March 3, 1997
Participation at the event, or assistance in selecting the appropriate substitute in the event of an emergency
