The Virtual Smart Office: The Mobile Workplace of the Future
The "office of the future" will not be a place but rather a set of portable facilities that the knowledge worker will have access to at any time, any place! Projections show that fewer and fewer knowledge workers (managers, professionals, engineers, consultants, clerical workers, etc.) spend the majority of their working time in one physical location. More and more real work is done on the run, in homes, plants, air ports, air planes, hotel rooms, conference centers, even cars on the road. This talk will address the nature of the emerging "virtual" of "smart" office, what it will be like and how it will reflect the changing work habits of the modern knowledge worker.
* Advance mobile technologies
* PDA's, sub notebooks, cellular phones, wireless LANs & faxes
* Telecommuting
* How companies can leverage the change that mobile computing makes possible
Thank you for your interest in DCI's Sales Force Automation Conference. Please contact Terri Pearson with any questions. Please submit the above material to Terri Pearson at DCI, fax #508/470-1992.
