The Clock Continues to Tick

With less than 1,000 days left, businesses everywhere are faced with ramifications from the millennial date change. This crisis will affect most critical computer systems including benefits, accounting, purchasing, pensions, inventory, sales and finance. Both the business and their decision makers will encounter bankruptcies, law suits, professional malpractice, and officer liability.

What is your organization doing to STOP this quickly approaching crisis?

Your answers lie in the road ahead. . .

About This Seminar

Survival in the Year 2000

There is no doubt-the Year 2000 computer problem is for real. The turn of the century poses the largest and most expensive project to date for many companies, leaving them with millions of dollars of software at risk. IT and business professionals everywhere are just now beginning to realize the full and alarming impact the next millennium may have on their businesses-especially if they are not prepared.

Most of the scrambling that is taking place in the Year 2000 arena is by systems professionals. Business managers are beginning to realize the responsibilities and the liabilities that they now face. Those that ignore the problem, or continue to classify it as a "systems issue" will be caught off-guard and can expect dire consequences. It is time to embrace the Year 2000 problem, understand it from a variety of perspectives and craft strategies for dealing with issues certain to emerge.

What Makes This Seminar Unique

DCI is pleased to bring together this unique combination of Peter de Jager and Leland Freeman as well as the industry’s top solution providers. Together they will present clear and precise descriptions of relevant issues from both the technical perspective and managerial perspective.

Technical Issues:

This first day offers project leaders a thorough understanding of the complexities of the conversion process including: testing, how to integrate tools, managing the process of the project and measuring its success.
